Mark Tedford is a Christian husband, father, and grandfather with more than 30 years of real-world business experience on Main Street. A successful businessman and proven conservative lawmaker, Tedford has created jobs, balanced budgets, and delivered results for Oklahoma families.
HUSBAND. DAD. GRANDFATHER.
Mark Tedford and his wife, Kristin, have been married since 1992 and raised their four children in the Tulsa area.
For decades, Mark has worked alongside local leaders to support economic development, strengthen small businesses, and serve Oklahoma communities.
Mark currently serves as Vice Chairman of Soldier’s Wish and on the board of Home Church in Broken Arrow.

Republican Businessman and
State Rep. Mark Tedford Launches Congressional Campaign for Oklahoma’s 1st District
TULSA, Oklahoma - State Rep. Mark Tedford, a Republican Tulsa businessman, announced Wednesday he is running for the U.S. House in Oklahoma’s 1st Congressional District after Rep. Kevin Hern said he would vacate the seat to run for Senate.
“First, I want to thank Congressman Kevin Hern and his wonderful family for their service to Oklahoma’s First Congressional District,” Tedford said. “I’m grateful for the leadership Congressman Hern has provided and for the way he has helped elevate Oklahoma’s conservative values on the national stage.”
Tedford said he plans to support United States President Donald Trump’s America First agenda while protecting Oklahoma jobs, defending the state’s energy industry and promoting fiscal discipline in Washington.
